Bounce Sphere Timer FAQ and Tips
The premise is about as clean as physics-based platformers get: a ball that never stops bouncing, a level littered with hazards, and three stars per stage that separate a passing run from an actually good one. There's a real difference between just reaching the exit and reaching it having grabbed all three stars along the way, and that difference is exactly what keeps you replaying a level you already technically beat. The bounce timing feels consistent enough that once you get a feel for it, the whole thing starts to feel more like rhythm than reflex.
Pro-Level Advice
- Map out where all three stars sit before committing to a route, since backtracking mid-bounce rarely goes well.
- Time your movements to the natural rhythm of the bounce instead of fighting against it with constant corrections.
- Treat obstacles as fixed hazards to route around rather than things to react to at the last second.
- Replay a stage once you know the star locations; your second attempt is almost always cleaner than your first.
- Slow your inputs down on levels with tightly packed obstacles rather than rushing through them.
How To Play
- Use your keyboard's arrow keys, or tap the left and right zones on a touchscreen, to nudge the sphere mid-air.
- Time your directional taps with the peak of each bounce for the most control over where you land.
- Avoid overcorrecting with rapid, repeated taps, since a single well-timed nudge beats several rushed ones.
- Watch the ball's shadow on the ground to judge landing spots more accurately than tracking the ball itself.
