Each stage ramps up the incline and the dirt gets looser, so what worked as a strategy on the first hill will absolutely get you stuck by the fourth. Climbing the ranks here really is a grind up a literal hill, one stage at a time.

Winning Strategies

• Build up speed on flatter ground before you hit a steep incline, since starting a climb from a standstill rarely works.
• Ease off the gas near the crest of a hill so your truck doesn't launch and land badly on the other side.
• Tap the brake in short bursts on loose dirt sections instead of holding it, which keeps the tires from locking up.
• Take wider lines on desert turns, since these trucks carry more momentum than they look like they should.

Controller & Keyboard Guide

Movement runs through the standard WASD layout, with W handling throttle and A and D steering the truck left and right through the dunes. Space is your brake, and honestly, you'll be tapping it far more than you'd expect on a truck game, mostly to control your descent speed on the way down a steep drop rather than to actually stop. Getting comfortable with light, repeated taps instead of a single hard press makes the difference between a controlled descent and a truck that's suddenly airborne for the wrong reasons.
